Canary Island Wildcatters
A commissioned project, this logo design fell a bit outside of my typical design scope and style. However, after a hearty amount of research and hunt for inspiration, the final product was loved by both the client and others involved.
End goal: Original logo and T-shirt design for client project.
The prompt from the client was to create a sports-style logo for the “Canary Island Wildcatters,” utilizing imagery of a canary or an oil rig.
These are the final concepts I presented, focusing on two final designs with one alternative coloring.
**Canary was hand-drawn, along with the lettering for “Wildcatters.”
Here are the final logo options presented as T-shirt mock-ups in order for the client to see what the final product would actually look like.
My recommendation is shown furthest left: the red canary on a grey shirt.
The client indeed went with my recommendation for the final design and was very kind in providing photos with the final product!
